There are many benefits of regular massage when it becomes a consinstant part of your life. Research shows it reduces the heart rate, lowers blood pressure, increases blood circulation and lymph flow, relaxes muscles and improves range of motion. With every client my goal is to provide a caring, nurturing, relaxing experience.
Communication is key. I let the current needs of my clients dictate how I structure each massage, be it a wonderful relaxing massage or deep and clinical work. I explain the treatment and what you will gain from it. I am very comfortable working with complicated health conditions and traditional massage therapy.
My desire is to create a safe space where you can relax and receive what you need both physically and emotionally. Because our emotions are connected to our body that means emotions may be released in a session. I encourage you to talk if you like, be quiet if you don’t, laugh, cry, whatever is needed to fully experience what is right for that session. I know my clients are trusting me and I seek to be worthy of that trust, respecting their privacy and confidentiality.
Deep Tissue Massage reaches deeper layers of muscles. It is used to break down trigger points and relieve pressure points throughout the body. This massage is beneficial for athletes and those who sit for long periods of time.
The goal of Swedish Massage is to melt away muscle tension and increase the blood flow to your heart. Swedish Massage is extremely therapeutic as it decreases muscle toxins, increases oxygen levels in the blood, and improves flexibility in the body.
Cupping is very relaxing and generally not painful. Almost anyone can benefit from cupping. Cupping is a form of massage therapy which decompresses soft tissues using vacuum suction. It is used to treat lack of mobility, tight muscles, scars and many diagnoses like headaches, tendinitis, bursitis, plantar fasciitis, fibromyalgia, and release of trigger points.
If you’ve experienced sleep issues, fatigue, swollen lymph nodes, swelling in the legs (or anywhere else), it’s a good sign you could benefit from Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD).
MLD is not painful and can promote lymph health and natural drainage. It’s a gentle technique that does a lot of work in the body. You’ll be surprised at how great you feel and how much energy you have for the rest of the day.
Here are just a few reasons to book a treatment and try it for yourself:
